Sustainable by design
Sustainability to us means
making a long lasting product
from renewable sustainable material
that can be repaired
and at the very end of it's life can be recycled or composted.
Supply Chain
We choose Paulownia as a timber because it is fast growing and easily renewable. It also happens to have one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any wood. This unique combination of lightness and strength makes Paulownia the perfect timber for pickleball paddles.
We source our Paulownia timber from a local supplier who grows and mills Paulownia on their farm in the North Island of New Zealand.
The paddles are made ethically by happy workers (James & Liv) in Napier, New Zealand.
Our Packaging
Our paddles come with a 100% cotton drawstring bag for easy carrying and safe keeping. (At the end of its life this bag can be composted.)
They're shipped in custom made cardboard boxes (to reduce carbon footprint) which is one of the easiest and most common materials to recycle. Cardboard is made from paper fibers so it can be broken down and made into new paper products.
Repairable
Dings and scrapes are fully repairable.
We want to save waste from going to landfill whilst saving you money.
Our vision is for our paddles to last as long as you.
